2. Mike Hailwood
Mike the Bike is present in any conversation about the greatest bike racer of all times. Considering that he won nine world championship titles, he is also the closest to the GOAT title of all. He also managed to snag two third places while driving in Formula One races, not to mention he saved Clay Regazzoni’s life when he pulled him from his burning car during the South Africa Grand Prix. Mike was awarded the George Medal for his heroism that day.
