1. Schumacher’s crashes
In order to win a Formula One Championship, a driver sometimes has to be ruthless. Nobody embraced that more than Michael Schumacher. In 1994, prior to Australian Grand Prix, Schumacher was leading in the championship standings by one point ahead of Damon Hill.
All he had to do to win it was ensure Hill didn’t finish the race ahead of him. So, he intentionally crashed into Hill’s car, putting them both out of the race. He repeated the same thing in 1997, but this time officials were on to him and disqualified him from the championship.
