Inside the cabin, buyers will no longer have the problematic dual-screen setup. Instead, the company installed a single, larger touchscreen. The CR-V LX will pack a 2.4-liter naturally aspirated I4 unit that delivers 184 horsepower and 180 lb-ft of torque. The other trims will have the Civic’s 1.5-liters turbocharged I4 that generates 190 ponies and 179 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are connected with a CVT.

Honda CR-V Diesel

There were some rumors that the new generation would come with a diesel engine. Fortunately or not, that will not happen and the Japanese company will go green instead.
