8. Stirling Moss
Another of the legendary drivers racing in the early history of Formula One is Stirling Moss. He built his career during the 1950s when he was definitely one of the most competitive drivers. Similar to the other competitors we have mentioned so far, Moss was extremely skilled and precise when it came to driving a car. This allowed him to set some records but also to win 16 races out of 67 he drove.
Throughout his career, he was part of R.R.C Walker and Maserati racing teams. Unfortunately, although he never managed to win a title in this championship, he was several times the vice-champion, which is also a great success and ranks him among the best racers ever.
