9. Mika Hakkinen
When it comes to the end of the 20th century, Mika Hakkinen is one of the drivers who are considered the best in this period. He was the driver of the McLaren racing team during the 1990’s when he managed to win two titles in 1998 and 1999. Older fans definitely remember him for his outstanding skills when it comes to slippery surfaces and in ‘oversteering’ situations.
We have to mention that he has won 20 titles in races around the world. Also, Hakkinen competed against some of the greatest names in history (about them a bit later) of this dangerous sport, so his success is even greater if you consider that.
